Club Shoots FAQ
What should I bring to "the shoots"?
Great question! For first-timers, it will depend on how involved you want to get. Start with the basics: a chair, bug spray, sunscreen, eye and ear protection, close-toed shoes, a flashlight/headlight, and a smile. You may bring your own food if you do not want the food being served.
May I bring fireworks to shoot?
Absolutely! You must always follow all safety rules. Anything different than 1.4g consumer fireworks (available at any standard fireworks stand) must be approved by the safety officer (contact info).
I'm a member. May I bring a non-member friend?
Yes; however, they will not be allowed on the field until they become a member.
Does the club have equipment I can borrow?
Yes, we have an inventory of club-owned safety and shooting equipment available for all club members. Please contact the safety officer for information on what's available and how to borrow it.
May children shoot fireworks?
Yes, in the proper area with their parents present and using the proper safety gear.
What is the alcohol policy?
Alcohol is permitted on-site, but may not be consumed by those shooting.
Is food provided at shoots?
Yes, food is provided at all shoots and get-togethers. If you have dietary restrictions, you may wish to bring your own.
Must I register for shoots?
Registering is highly encouraged. This will help us with a headcount for food accommodations.
May I purchase food from MOpyro at the shoots?
Yes; food is available for $15 per person once everyone registered has been fed.
Do I need a badge to be in the viewing section?
No; however, a badge is required to walk on the field.
