The PGI Display Operators Course at Sky Wars is a two-day training that covers the fundamentals of safely setting up and firing professional fireworks displays. Classroom instruction takes place on Friday, followed by a live-fire field exercise on Saturday.
Taught by experienced pyrotechnicians, the course is your opportunity to get formal training in display fireworks operations from some of the most experienced professionals in the industry. Space is limited, and participants receive priority access to available Pyro Area passes.
PGI Course attendees are being given priority for passes to Sky Wars 2025. YOU MUST HAVE A PYRO PASS TO SKY WARS TO TAKE THE COURSE.

The live fire exercise will be back at the Sky Wars pyro area. You'll be provided details during the classroom portion.
You will need to pass through Innsbrook security to reach the Aspen Center. Tell them you are there for the Sky Wars PGI Display Operator course at the Aspen Center and they will pass you through the gate. When you reach the Aspen center you'll be directed to the room.
You'll want to bring a notebook and something to write with.
For the live fire, you'll want long sleeves and long pants and no open toed shoes. Safety glasses and hard hat will be provided.
